About
Develop a new appreciation for Mexico’s national drink with tequila specialist Ricardo, who has travelled across the country to study tequila’s origins and to sample its subtleties. Either join Ricardo in a location downtown or host the tasting at your own villa as a sophisticated addition to a dinner party or as a stand-alone event. There are three tastings to suit all types of tequila drinkers.
1. The Tequila Curious
A great way for someone who’s new to tequila (or those that have only encountered it as a shot at a party) to learn more about this amazing liquor. What is agave? What’s the difference between blancos and reposados? What should one be looking for in a quality tequila? You’ll start with clear tequilas, look at what pairs up for mixing and move on to some more aged amber varieties for sipping. Advance from a novice to an expert in an hour.
2. The Connoisseur
For those that are already family with tequila, you can fine tune your appreciation for the nectar of the Gods. Compare bodies and bouquets. Sip some artisanal varieties, smoky dark anejos and exclusive extra anejos. Your guide will surprise you with some hidden gems discovered on his travels. This tasting lasts around an hour and a half.
3. The Mezcalero
It’s not hallucinogenic and doesn’t always come with a worm, Mezcal: Tequila’s smoky, mysterious, cool uncle. Despite Mezcal’s growing popularity in the liquor and cocktail scene, much of the product never even makes it to US or Canada due to trade restrictions and small batch quantities. This is your opportunity to try something new and see why this artisanal drink is receiving so much attention. This tasting lasts around an hour and half.

About
Buried deep in the heart of the Sierra Madre Mountains (around 2 hours from Puerto Vallarta), San Sebastian's remote setting has made it one of Mexico's last remaining secrets.
While this tiny mountain enclave (elevation 4500 ft) isn't far from Puerto Vallarta, it's still a world away from the usual tourist haunts.
Over the years, the town's population fluctuated wildly as gold and silver were mined intermittently between the 1600's and the 1930's. It now has a population of 600 and the main industry is coffee and agave cultivation.
An ancient Mexican town, filled with colonial architecture and people who still appreciate the simple life.

About
Develop a new appreciation for Mexico’s national drink with tequila specialist Ricardo, who has travelled across the country to study tequila’s origins and to sample its subtleties.

This cove was once the residence of famous film director John Huston who considered it one of the most beautiful places in the world. Las Caletas is surrounded by a nature preserve and is so isolated and unspoiled, it’s only accessible by sea.
Once on land you can choose to relax and soak up the sunshine on the beach, indulge in a massage or facial at the hilltop spa or get more active and go snorkeling, paddleboarding or kayaking. You can also head inland to learn how to cook Paella or discover Las Caletas' prolific flora and bird life on a walk through the jungle, orchid gardens and interactive parrot center.
You’ll enjoy a buffet lunch and an open bar. Kids will love the adventure park and teens will be kept busy at the adventure cove. There is something for everyone at this stunning beach paradise.
